2014 Neighborhood Revitalization Conference, July 24-25

The 2014 Neighborhood Revitalization Conference is co-hosted by the Alliance for Children and Families’ Center for Engagement and Neighborhood Building and the Center for the Study of Social Policy.

nrc14_web_half-billboardThe conference features speakers that are influencing efforts to integrate health, education, child welfare, housing, and other issues that affect communities. Government administrators, funders, and leaders of local initiatives will discuss what is working and what is changing in the fast-paced field of neighborhood revitalization. The 2014 Neighborhood Revitalization Conference program is designed so that participants:

  • Understand how current federal, philanthropic, and local investments can most effectively catalyze and sustain neighborhood revitalization efforts
  • Learn about new research and innovative solutions for improving results at the neighborhood level
  • Share lessons learned and best practices in developing the organizational and community capacity needed to create the conditions for sustainable revitalization efforts
  • Are supported as leaders in neighborhood revitalization and share perspectives about what they, as leaders, need in order to continue to achieve results for children, families and communities
