The National Network for Youth gathered input from the field, hosted a national conference call with members, and has submitted ideas for the changes it would like to see included in the 2014 Opening Doors Amendment. Click HERE to see all of their ideas.
In order to show support for their suggestions, NN4Y need your vote! USICH’s forum allows the public to vote for which ideas they would like to see enacted, and the ideas with the most votes are displayed first in the forums. Take these two steps to show your support:
1) Click on the link HERE and vote for NN4Y’s ideas on all four areas of input. In order to vote, you’ll need to provide your name and email address and you can use 1-3 votes per posting (we recommend giving each one 3 votes to boost our chances of rising to the top!).
2) When you are finished, please share this link and encourage your network to vote for our ideas as well. Remember, everyone should vote for all four links – one in each of USICH’s forums!
Opening Doors, the Federal Strategic Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness celebrated its four year anniversary and USICH is open to amending the plan in four key areas. For more details on USICH’s process and to see our initial ideas please visit our website, HERE.
